St. Peter School Board Accepting Nominations for New Members
The St. Peter School Board is currently accepting nominations for new members for the 2021-2022 academic year. Board members serve a three-year term. The Board members advise our Pastor and school principal on developing and reviewing policy for the St Peter School. Policy gives general direction to the administration to address or clarify expectations for students, parents, and teachers.The Board needs the following positions to be filled:
- 1 Catholic Identity Member: (This member stays abreast of the Catholic faith formation major goals and reports to the general membership. There are two Catholic Identity members.)
- 1 Non-Parent Member:(This member can be any parishioner who doesn’t have children in the day school. This member shares community issues and perspectives.)
- 2 Members-At-Large: (These members help on various subcommittee areas as needed).
- Ideal candidates are:
• Committed to Catholic Education
• Knowledgeable about the Parish segment they represent
• Able to see the “big picture” and balance the needs of the entire Parish community
• Willing to invest time and energy on a variety of board activities
